Maxim 2024 Chardonnay Single Vineyard Reserve

This is the first Chardonnay produced from our block on Lawn Road, it was fermented and aged in French oak barrels. This Reserve Chardonnay has ripe fruit flavours to create a wine that has texture, richness and balance. Beautiful melon, nectarine and peach aromas, with a lovely long full finish.

The fruit was handpicked, followed by whole bunch pressed into french oak barrels. All juice under went wild yeast fermentation to create a more complex wine with layers ripe stone fruits. Once the wine finished ferment, it went throught full Malo-lactic fermentation to add richness. This beautiful Chardonnay was aged for 11 months before bottling in March 2025.

Drink now or cellar for up to 10 years.

Tasting Notes:

Ripe stone fruit, white peach, melon flavors, with hints of butterscotch and oak. The palate is rich and long with texture, good acidity and balance. It has a purity and elegance.
